Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum needed to provide the service:

• Email address (for authentication and notifications)
• Pickup address (to send drivers to the right place)
• Scheduling preferences (preferred day and time window)
• Payment information (processed by Stripe — we never see your card number)

Your data is used to schedule pickups, send notifications, process payments, and improve the service. We don't sell your data. We don't use it for advertising.

We share data with these services as needed to operate:

• Stripe — payment processing (they handle your card info directly)
• Roadie — driver dispatch (they receive your pickup address and time window)
• Resend — email delivery
• Google Maps — address autocomplete and mapping
• Sentry — error monitoring (no personal data included)

We use a session cookie for authentication and localStorage for preferences (like A/B test variants). We use Google Analytics for basic usage statistics. No third-party ad trackers.

Your data is stored in a SQLite database on our servers. Payment data is stored by Stripe and never touches our servers. We back up the database continuously.

You can delete your account from Settings. This cancels your subscription and removes your personal data. Some anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics.

We use HTTPS everywhere, encrypt sensitive data at rest, and follow standard security practices. If you discover a vulnerability, please email hello@byebox.app.

We may update this policy. We'll notify you via email for material changes.
